Electrolytic Scale Reducer – Supply & Installation (15mm) At Eco Heat & Cool Ltd, we supply and install the Adey Electroscale2 electrolytic scale reducer to protect your home’s plumbing and heating system from limescale build-up. This maintenance-free device provides long-term protection against limescale, helping improve system efficiency and extend the lifespan of boilers, pipework and hot water appliances. Installed on the cold water supply to protect the heating system On combi boilers it is fitted to the cold feed into the boiler On system or vented systems it is installed on the cold water supply The installation also includes: Approved single check valve New isolation ball valve for easier future maintenance or replacement The unit size (15mm or 22mm) will be selected depending on your existing pipework.

Uploading photos of the boiler, heating system, or problem area can help us prepare for the job. Someone aged 18 or over must be present at the property during the appointment. Please ensure clear and safe access/ parking to the boiler, heating system and your property. Cancellations & Rescheduling We require at least 72 hours’ notice (3 WORKING DAYS) for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a call-out charge. Diagnostic Visits Some visits are diagnostic only. Any repair work or parts required will be quoted separately before work begins. Providing as much information as possible in advance helps us diagnose issues more efficiently and complete the work with minimal disruption.
