Homeowner Gas Safety Certificate - Boilers/ Combi Boilers/ System Boilers ONLY
Service Description
**WE ONLY PROVIDE THIS SERVICE FOR Boilers/ Combi Boilers/ System Boilers** NO COOKERS/HOBS/FIREPLACES** A Homeowner Gas Safety Certificate is a gas safety inspection carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer to check that the gas appliances, pipework, and flues within a property are operating safely. Unlike a Landlord Gas Safety Record (CP12), there is no legal requirement for homeowners to have an annual gas safety certificate. However, many homeowners choose to have one for peace of mind, when selling a property, after purchasing a home, or to satisfy insurance or mortgage requirements. Who Needs a Homeowner Gas Safety Certificate? A homeowner may benefit from a gas safety inspection if they: - Have recently moved into a property. - Are selling their home and want to demonstrate that gas appliances are safe. - Have concerns about the condition of their gas installation. - Have not had their gas appliances checked for several years. - Want reassurance that their boiler, cooker, gas fire, and pipework are operating safely. - Are applying for certain insurance products or home warranties that request evidence of gas safety. What Does the Inspection Include? A typical homeowner gas safety inspection includes: ✔ Visual inspection of gas appliances ✔ Gas tightness testing (where required) ✔ Flue and ventilation checks ✔ Safety device operation checks ✔ Combustion and performance testing ✔ Inspection of accessible gas pipework ✔ Identification of any safety concerns or defects Upon completion, you'll receive a Gas Safety Inspection Certificate/Report detailing the appliances checked and confirming whether they were operating safely at the time of inspection.
