Immersion Heater Replacement – First Heating Element At Eco Heat & Cool Ltd, we provide professional replacement of immersion heater elements in hot water cylinders. Immersion heaters are electric heating elements installed in hot water tanks that heat and store water for domestic use, often operating during off-peak electricity hours. Depending on the size of the cylinder, systems may have one, two or three heating elements. What’s Included Our immersion heater replacement service includes: Isolating the electricity supply to the cylinder Removing the existing wiring connections Isolating the cold water supply Draining the hot water cylinder Removing the old immersion heater element Installing a new immersion heater with fibre seal Refilling the cylinder and checking for leaks Reconnecting the electrical wiring Setting the thermostat to 55°C Testing the system to ensure the water is heating correctly Our engineer will ensure the system is safely installed, tested and fully operational before handover.

Uploading photos of the boiler, heating system, or problem area can help us prepare for the job. Someone aged 18 or over must be present at the property during the appointment. Please ensure clear and safe access/ parking to the boiler, heating system and your property. Cancellations & Rescheduling We require at least 72 hours’ notice (3 WORKING DAYS) for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a call-out charge. Diagnostic Visits Some visits are diagnostic only. Any repair work or parts required will be quoted separately before work begins. Providing as much information as possible in advance helps us diagnose issues more efficiently and complete the work with minimal disruption.
