Service Description
Move Existing Radiator to a New Location - SAME ROOM Radiator Not Included At Eco Heat & Cool Ltd, we can relocate your existing radiator to a different position within the same room to improve heating performance or room layout. Our engineers will safely remove the radiator, install new pipework where required, and reconnect the system to ensure everything is working efficiently. If You Are Supplying the Radiator Please ensure: The radiator is the correct size for the new location You have ordered the correct TRV valves and mounting accessories The radiator has been delivered and checked for damage before our arrival Alternatively, Eco Heat & Cool Ltd can supply the radiator and fittings, with the cost added to your invoice after approval. What’s Included Our radiator relocation service includes: Draining the heating system Removing the radiator and existing brackets Patching old bracket holes (basic fill only – no sanding or painting) Installing new mounting brackets Mounting and levelling the radiator in the new position Installing new pipe connections and valves Refilling the heating system Adding corrosion inhibitor Bleeding radiators and pressurising the system Testing the heating system and boiler Pipework Options We offer two pipework installation options: 1. Surface pipework (Included) New copper pipework installed along the floor or skirting board. 2. Pipework under the floor (Optional Add-On) Pipework installed beneath the floor for a cleaner finish. Access to floorboards or flooring may be required. Optional Services Installation of a drain-off valve if your system does not have one Old radiator removal and disposal – £25 per radiator Important Information Before starting any work, we will drain the heating system and inspect the installation area. If additional work is required to access pipework under the floor (lifting floorboards, carpets or flooring), this may be charged separately.

Booking Policy To ensure a smooth and efficient service, please read the following before booking: Please provide accurate details about the issue when making your booking. Uploading photos of the boiler, heating system, or problem area can help us prepare for the job. Someone aged 18 or over must be present at the property during the appointment. Please ensure clear and safe access/ parking to the boiler, heating system and your property. Cancellations & Rescheduling We require at least 72 hours’ notice (3 WORKING DAYS) for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a call-out charge. Diagnostic Visits Some visits are diagnostic only. Any repair work or parts required will be quoted separately before work begins. Providing as much information as possible in advance helps us diagnose issues more efficiently and complete the work with minimal disruption.
