At Eco Heat & Cool Ltd, our power flushing service for combi and system boilers (up to 15 radiators) removes sludge, rust and debris that reduce heating efficiency. Using specialist equipment and cleaning chemicals, our experienced engineers thoroughly cleanse your system to restore performance, improve reliability, and help reduce energy bills. We provide professional power flushing across London and the Home Counties, helping homeowners restore efficient, reliable heating. What Is Power Flushing? Power flushing is a deep-cleaning process that rapidly circulates water and specialist cleaning chemicals through your heating system to remove sludge, debris, and corrosion build-up. The system is then refilled with clean water and a corrosion inhibitor to help protect it long-term. How the Process Works - Contaminated water, sludge and debris are flushed out - Specialist cleaning chemicals break down internal build-up - The system is flushed through with fresh mains water - System performance is checked and tested - A corrosion inhibitor is added for long-term protection Why Power Flushing Is Important A poorly maintained heating system can lose efficiency over time, increase energy costs, and put strain on your boiler. Power flushing helps restore performance and is commonly recommended when installing a new boiler or resolving circulation issues. Signs Your System May Need a Power Flush Your heating system may need power flushing if you notice: - Cold spots on radiators - Slow or uneven heating - Noisy boiler or pump - Radiators needing frequent bleeding - Rising energy bills - Poor circulation or cold radiators - Dirty or discoloured water Benefits of Power Flushing - Lower energy bills through improved efficiency - Faster heat-up times - Even heat distribution throughout your home - Reduced noise from boiler and pipework - Improved system reliability - Longer boiler and system lifespan - Protection against sludge, rust and corrosion
