Service Description

Radiator Disconnection & Removal At Eco Heat & Cool Ltd, we offer professional radiator disconnection and removal services if you no longer need a radiator or are redesigning your space. Our engineers will safely disconnect the radiator, seal the pipework and ensure your heating system continues to operate correctly. Radiator Services We Offer We provide several radiator installation and modification services: Radiator disconnection and removal Like-for-like radiator replacement New radiator installation in any room Relocating an existing radiator within the same room What’s Included Our radiator disconnection service includes: Draining the heating system Removing the radiator and wall brackets Patching bracket holes (basic fill only – no sanding or painting) Disconnecting radiator valves Sealing or capping the pipework Refilling the heating system Adding corrosion inhibitor Bleeding radiators and pressurising the system Testing the heating system and boiler Pipework Options 1. Cap pipes above the floor – Included The pipework is cut and capped at floor level. 2. Cap pipes under the floor – Optional Add-On Pipework can be disconnected and capped below the floor for a cleaner finish. Access to floorboards or flooring may be required. Optional Services Drain-off valve installation if your system does not have one Old radiator disposal – £25 per radiator Important Information Before starting work, the heating system will be drained and inspected. If access to pipework beneath the floor is required (lifting floorboards, carpets or other flooring), additional charges may apply.


Cancellation Policy

Booking Policy To ensure a smooth and efficient service, please read the following before booking: Please provide accurate details about the issue when making your booking. Uploading photos of the boiler, heating system, or problem area can help us prepare for the job. Someone aged 18 or over must be present at the property during the appointment. Please ensure clear and safe access/ parking to the boiler, heating system and your property. Cancellations & Rescheduling We require at least 72 hours’ notice (3 WORKING DAYS) for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a call-out charge. Diagnostic Visits Some visits are diagnostic only. Any repair work or parts required will be quoted separately before work begins. Providing as much information as possible in advance helps us diagnose issues more efficiently and complete the work with minimal disruption.
